have a potterton netaheat boiler. boiler fires up but cuts out after a few mins. no hot water or heating. told it was the motorised valve. changed it with no change. told it was a faulty pump. changed it. no change. told it was tank pipe stat. changed it. no changed. linked out boiler stat to check that.boiler stays on but after 5 mins steem blows out of the pipe above the header tank but still no heat. header tank and feeder tank fine. think of changing the pcb next. what do you think boys and girls.

Could be a blocked feed pipe and pumping over, if there's steam coming out the boiler could be short of water

Where are you getting all this bad advice from?
The best advice is to stop chucking parts at it and call in a pro to correctly diagnose and fix the fault, and stop wasting anymore money.
One thing it won't be is the pcb.
What Netaheat model is it?

its a 10 16 electronic. which I had just done as you said and got a pro in lol.
cheers

So what has the pro found to be the problem?

As suggested it sounds like a serious blockage!

Steam is not as a result of the fault but of you shorting out the boiler stat.

THAT IS AN UNSAFE THING TO DO !!!
