Heating and HW on going through 2 way valves.

Rads don't fully heat up.

Heating on only.

Rads awesome

I'm thinking HW is getting more of the heat than the rads?
Would I need to slow down this?

No sludge in rads

Any ideas would be much appreciated

Thank You

Once the cylinder is heated the valve will shut.
The flow follows the path of least resistance and is a benefit as it gives you hot water priority.

That's ok if the cylinder is a modern rapid recovery one which can make good use of a fair proportion of the heat output from the boiler.
If not the usual fix is to balance the flow between the cylinder and the heating by having a partially closed gate valve in the hot water circuit.

I get this problem when the impellor of my pump is blocked up with crud.

It's a Megaflo...see the OP's various other posts

@nodyland Your cylinder is capable of absorbing approx 25kW of heat from your boiler, so if it's cold and you have both heating and hot water on together the cylinder will tend to take a lot of the heat being produced by the boiler, resulting in cooler rads
