Heating on all the time

The original heating engineer fitted a 3 port at the time of installation, been replaced with same type about 5 years ago.
you still need a 2 port spring return motorised valve on the flow to the unistore with a 3 port mid position valve, for safety and to comply with regulations

As I said previously, system installed by qualified engineer, 14 years ago. System has been serviced by various registered engineers over the years and 3 port valve replaced by engineer 5 years ago, Not the issue today. System hopefully being replaced in a few months. Thanks

well the reason you were asked the question,is IF you have one that could be what is keeping your system constantly running, but you had it wrongly installed 15 years ago and I will bet the unistore has never been serviced or it would have been picked up

Actually unistore had an issue just before central was serviced last year, engineer checked it and replaced the expansion tank. He checked the system, never mentioned the missing valve. So was he negligent ?, should he be reported to corgi. But at this time, its not the issue.
