for the first 20 seconds of turning the heating on for the first time last night, the bathroom radiator and bedroom 1 radiator made noises that can be compared to a big old door creaking open slowly. After 20 seconds the noise stopped and it went quiet as usual. i have had it on again this morning and the noises came back again, for 20 seconds only.

the system is bled, it has never made the noise before. does it sound like air in there??

Glow-Worm Space saver 40br Mk2

Wilo Gold pump

open vent system

15mm pipework from 22mm ring.

otherwise, the heating was fine and nice and hot.

Got to find it first.

Have you done any work around the place in the summer.

In that case, tell the kid to stop washing his ears; he will love the idea and the problem is solved.

nothing has been done apart from adding some TRV's to the upstairs rads. (3 rads only, out of 8 in the house)

That's good enough for me.

The pipes are rubbing on the boards where you disturbed then.

Carefully ease the holes around the pipes.

If you took the radiators off, did you loose the plastic spacers on the brackets.

no i did not take off the radiators from the walls,

i will have a look when im home tonight at the holes!
