Heating Thermostat Problem-please help

Dear All,

First time posting so hello everyone!!!.

I have just recently noticed that the heating remains on even when the wall thermostat is turned off. The radiators are very hot! . I am no expert and this is as far as I have got at the moment.! Could it be knackered wall thermostat?

Could anyone give me some pointers as to where to start trying to track down problem.

would suspect mv, but with no info on system or boiler I could (and probably am) wrong
