Heating zones cut off after short period

Hello
We have external oil boiler (mistral) with 3 zones (water, upstairs, downstairs). The water works fine but the heating zones cut off after a while. The zone valve for each seem to be working OK. I did get the central heating zone to work for a short period earlier by turning the control dial up on the boiler but it has stopped again.
