hi i have a honeywell st 7100 progamma that has stoped turning the heating on but still turns hot water on is there anything i can do with it or is there a new one out that just fits on to the same back plate
Hi, you could connect the live wire from the central heating terminal to the hot water terminal in the mean time.
It does mean you cant control heating and hot water seperately!
Most programmers fit on to a single gang steel box sunk into the wall, if yours is like this then its a standard fit.
All new programmers come with their own back plate adaptor also , you would have to make note of the wires of your old programmer as it can get confusing between all the wires of thermostats, motorised valves etc
