I have no manual. The CH is working fine, however there is no hot water and what complicates this is the mains water pressure is very very poor. Severn Trent have acknowledged the water pressure is poor but have refused to do anything about it. Could this lack of water pressure over time have contributed to the problem I have now. Can anyone give some advice on how to solve this? Thanks

How bad is your water pressure? Static pressure? Flow rates?

As for the boiler, it's unlikely that your cold water pressure is so poor that you get no hot water. More likely to be a flow switch or diaphragm problem.

ok, on the front of the boiler do any of the lights flash when you use the hot water? or is it showing all the lights on(or most of them)?

your boiler needs a minimum of pressure of 0.25 bar with a flow rate of 2.5 liters per minute to fire, below this it will not. this boiler uses a halls effect flow sensor(a little water wheel inside that spins a magnet)

i don't think working with low pressure would damage it but it could of lost some of its sensitively over time, so if it was working close to the minimum then it could just not be sensing the flow anymore.

the most likely thing to go on this type of boiler is the dhw temp senor followed by the magnetic senor. if you phone heat-line they can put you in contact with a engineer that will know this boiler and has parts for them(as not may people sell parts for them yet)

Thanks for your help guys. I will try out your suggestions tomorrow.

I thought this was the standard efficiency with a diverter valve?

the vizo(sold in b&q) is a s24 compact upgraded with a condensing heat exchanger. they have a different case and control layout but the insides are the same.
