I've got a wet underfloor heating system that uses a Heatmiser UH8-RF Wiring Centre. There's 3 zones each with a wireless thermostat. I also have the Heatmiser NeoHub so I can control the system via the Heatmiser app. On the whole, things work well but on several occassions, I've felt the floor feel warm even though the trigger temperature threshold was far lower than the current temperature. It doesn't happen a lot but today I really noticed it, it's a very hot day and the inside temperatures were over 21 degrees (according to the thermostat). The temperature was set to 17 degrees from the morning until early evening but the entire duration the actual temperature was well over this. I noticed that the light on the Wiring Centre indicated that the zone was calling for heat. The thermostat did not have the flame icon which is usually shown when it calls for heat.
Looking at the heating history from within the mobile app also shows that no calling for heat occurred. So, for unknown reasons, a zone is being heated despite there being no call for heat.
Is there any reason why this would happen? It's extremely annoying to have the heating come on, on such a warm day not to mention it being a huge waste of energy. Would really like to get to the bottom of this but any suggestions as to what is wrong would be really useful.
