Hi, wonder if anyone can help. I have an electric Heatre Sadia Megaflo immersion heater (only for water - storage heaters for heat) that only provides enough hot water for around 1.5 showers.

I've tried a few suggestions from this forum but am now stumped. So far I've replaced the immersion unit (Cotherm TSE) and that now works fine. Adjusting the temperature on this doesn't seem to make any difference. My economy 7 was knackered (old battery powered unit) so this was replaced. Still no joy.

Any other suggestions as to what this can be? Unit was installed some 10 years ago and I live in a hard water area.

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers

John

What size is the cylinder?

Whats the flow rate of your shower?

How long do you shower for? Be truthful!

A typical shower uses 10 li/min. Thats only 17 minutes of showering. or 1 1/2 12 minute showers with a 170 li cylinder!
