I have a bit of a problem with this boiler. Nothing happens! The boiler goes straight into lockout no fan start up zilch! I suppose it must be the fan motor? Any other thoughts?
I used to have one of those (if it's an oil fired Worcester combi).
Have you got a multimeter? Unplug the motor cable and check for 240V. If I remember correctly it's a 3 pin plug (live/neutral/earth) and the earth is not the middle pin, so you will have to work out which of the 2 outside terminals is earth by testing for continuity with the boiler metalwork then see if there is 240V on the other 2 terminals when the fan/pump would normally start.
On start up, the motor should run for about 6 sec before ignition starts, and the valve on the oil pump opens.....if it isn't going through this purge cycle, you need to ascertain if the motor is ok before looking into the control box.
I imagine this is the B9A burner, with the BFP41 pump and Satronic TF832 controller.
