Got an hedge trimmer jonsered HT21 which start and stops.

I rebuilt carburetor but nothing has changed.

Lack of my knowledge but how this carburetor works as there is no primer bulb and only one pipe from the tank.

I can see petrol struggle to reach the carburetor but opening the tank after several pull can feel a bit of air pressure.

Any clarification is welcomed

Just a factor of some carb designs, Jonny........many chainsaws (Stihl, Husqvarna) don't have a primer or more than one fuel pipe, but of course the tank will have some sort of breather to let air in.
John :)

What do you suggest to check in order to get fuel from the tank to carburetor? Fuel filter seem to be clean and not sure what else to check.

See if you can find the tank vent......it may be in the filler cap or a separate part.
The fuel needs to be drawn up to the carb without any bubbles, so try with the fuel cap loose.
If no joy there, it’s a carb strip down I’m afraid.

Carburetor rebuilt.

Now start and idle for a little while but if touching the trigger dies.

Tried to reduce and increase the Low but nothing.

I got those on 1 1/4

Any suggestion?

Does the carb have an H screw? It's this one that allows the machine to speed up and it's usually a symptom of things being too weak so turn it out a fraction and try again. The usual setting is between 1 and two turns out from fully in.
John :)

No numbers

It's a walbro carburetor

I'd say that is a very early machine, somewhere around 2001 - 2003.
Anyway, I'd try to track down a replacement carb now and here are a couple of numbers that may help.
530035306 WT-221
530069682 C1U-W4 (This one is a Zama equivalent).
Try ebay, Amazon or whatever
John :)
