My existing consumer unit in my bungalow is an old 4-way MK fused type about 6'6" from the floor above the kitchen worktop. I'd like to have it replaced with a modern consumer unit but I'm wondering whether the height would meet the latest regulations bearing in mind it's a replacement not a new installation.

John.

There is no obligation to move it anywhere else if it is replaced.
