Hi,
My working drawings say "alter existing window opening to form new door opening". (Into new extension).
My architect is away for a fortnight.
The height from new floor to bottom of existing window lintel measures 203cm at one window and 205cm at the other.
Is there a minimum or standard height for a door opening?. Are these existing openings high enough or will I have to replace the lintels higher up?.
Earlier I found a post saying no less than 82" inches high and another saying about 80" high.
They will be internal if that makes any difference.

A standard 6' 6" door and casing requires a clearance of about 2020mm including floor coverings.

So, your 2030mm should be just about right and the 2050mm may need a bit of infill although the archi's will probably get it.
