hello guys i am new to this site, and need your advice/ help please,
me and my partner bought are end terraced house around 18 months ago in a un-habitable living condition and had the fully renovated along with every wall inside and out hacked off damp proofed and re plastered,
which comes me to our recent problem we are seeming it have
are front living room walls (front of house) in either corners of the same wall are starting to developing damp, however every wall like i stated inside and out has been damp proofed and re plastered,
however,
this is my fathers opinion, he seems the problem lays where the external air vent is, when we had it dashed outside ( front of house) the plasterer re bricked in a new air vent and done it quite low since then we had paving slabs layed in the front garden area and my father seems to think that because of the vent being so low and near to the ground which the vent is only 1" to 1 1/2 inch above ground , he seems to think water may be entering?
what are your opinions and advice
many thanks alex
