I bought this house 2 years ago, ready to move already. But before I go and put this house on the market I need to address one important thing. The BATHROOM light. The original vanity/ medicine cabinet had an electrical outlet and a light built into this god awful thing. The problem was that the outlet only worked when the switch power was on. A few weeks ago when I wasn't home my fiancee tried to push in this little switch on the unit that made the light go on. In turn, the thing popped, sparked, and fused her two fingers together. Long story short, the unit was a piece of trash, and VERY unsafe. I ripped it down, and found out there were TWO separate wire "conduits" coming from this thing. On a positive note, I found the constant wire set to run a separate outlet. The other one is for the switch power so I can install a light. problem is, theres no power coming from the switch wires. Where do I wire this into so I can have power to the switch that would provide power for the light?
