Help - GU FFN120 UF8, 591-950, 6-896.02. Window lock

My wife pulled the handle out of one of my 14 year old double glazing windows. I therefore need to know how to remove the locks (looks like lots of screws on brass strip) to replace the faulty locks and where to buy a replacement. Locks are marked GU on the handle and on the brass strips are a number of markings which are FFN120 UF8, 591-950, 6-896.02. I tried GU but they just said the locks were obsolete and there was no replacement (Very Helpfull)!
Can anyone please help me with how to remove and possibly repair or find a replacement?

Oldie, it is VERY hard to match up locks exactly. I've always found the best bet is to take the part (or get them to come to you) to a local independant double glazing company, with many years experiance. Especialy if they do maintenance work for schools hospitals etc. they can usually find one to fit!

Hello Alfie, my Google search for the exact same window brought me to this page and I wonder if u still have the windows or their parts or you found a solution? I am looking to replace a tilt strike plate that has broken. It is the exact same model and make.
