Hi,

I have a 1960s house with some very nice flooring. I have moved a wall in the living room and am making some minor changes in one of the bedrooms and have discovered some gaps in the flooring which I need to fill. The locations are not central to the room so an exact match is not an issue, and I will be sanding staining and varnishing all the floors also making the task easier.

That said I have no idea where to find T&G flooring like mine. I also am not sure about what wood I have. Here are the two boards and a photo of two pieces. Could anyone please help identify the boards and give me some ideas of where to go to find odd dimensioned boards like this?

Board 1 - Living room - 60mm wide x 20mm thick - no idea what wood this is.

Board 2 - Bedroom - 85mm wide x 18mm thick - possibly pine?

Where can I find such boards. Please help.

Thx in advance.

Jon
