I've just been taking off the skirting boards in the living room before we get a new floor fitted and I think I've broken a part of the plaster off of the wall.
What do I do? Can it be fixed?
It's very common, but don't worry.
That bit will be covered by the new skirting, so you don't need a professional to fix it.
Just use some deep filler and let it dry properly.
Keep it as flush as possible, but it doesn't need to be perfect.
Just remove the broken bits, try not to pull more off higher up.
I now stick skirting on with sticky foam (probably not the best way, but I find it easiest!), so that'll fill it
