I am awaiting my new kitchen which arrives on the 19th september.

I have stripped the old kitchen units out and now have a bare room.
I have decided to tile the whole room before fitting my new kitchen units in.
Due to having a wooden floor i went out and bought some 6mm backer board and some flexible rapid set adhesive to fix the tiles with.
After ripping the last unit of my old kitchen out tonight i have found the floor is actually floating, this being chipboard on (looks like) 25mm polystyrene.

What is my best option? I need to get this sorted and tiled before my kitchen comes.

Any quick replies will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
