OK, so our entire condo is floating cork floors, long planks, and it looks really great, happy with it except for the kitchen. So my question is how can I tile over it just in the kitchen and how to deal with the entry to the kitchen where the cork tiles extend out the door. Can we cut a line in the doorway and just pull up the cork in the kitchen? Then put one of those floor/room divider thingies down? It seems doable in my brain and the pictures in my head look really nice...but not sure if it's realistic.

Hi Bobbie, Yes, you can pull the cork flooring and fix a reducer at the kit.door threshold, but what comes next depends on wether you have a solid floor, or a suspended floor, and does the kitchen have a slider or "french" doors?

How are you coping with the heatwave?
