Hi,

im planning to lay ceramic floor tiles in my kitchen. The floor currently has cork tiles, have tried several times to remove all tiles but im still left with small pieces and some old adhesive/glue. Can i seal this with some form of sealer and then lay the tiles over the top ??? or do i keep going and ensure that all the cork tiles are removed ??

many thanks

Jon

Welcome to the forum.
Best to remove all cork really, but it won't matter if we're just talking about tiny bits here and there but without seeing it it's hard to advise properly. Can you post a photo (see forum information for how to post a pic).
Bare in mind that if you've got small patches of cork then your floor will not be level, although small differences in height will be taken up by the adhesive.
