Hi all,

I've finally managed to fix the drain on the hot water cylinder so can crack on with the new flange for the shower pump.

Had no luck undoing the immersion heater cap, as the copper started to twist even with heat so I think an essex is out of the question.

The top compression nut comes undone fairly easily so I think it's a warwix or danzey. Looks to me to be a 1" male boss. I've scraped away the insulation and can't see any kind of adapter.

I'm guessing the current elbow is similar to a tap connector?

Thanks
