Hi all,

looking to slope a new porcelain patio that im laying. im not sure the best direction to slope as im trying to avoid a large gradient on the long length best as i can.

i have provided 2 options
option A is to slope from left to right
option B is to slope from top to bottom
option C - open to suggestions

also do i need to drain to a ACO drain or can it just drain to some gravel and pass down to the soil below?

Drain into the gravel is fine. Also you can drain both ways ie directly away from the house 1:60 on either side and then drain diagonally with a slightly steeper slope eg 1:40 on the corner squire to match up
You could use a slot drain in the middle to a soak away or whatever if the distant is too great and the levels don't work out. Then you can slope towards the drain from both directions.
