Hi all

I'm very new to tiling. I've done basic tiling on small areas however i've never done a large project. I'll be installing a new bathroom soon for a friend and they have asked me to also do the tiling, which i have agreed to do. The only problem is they want the entire bathroom tiled using large wall tiles, 30x30cm.

How different is it to fix these as opposed to the smaller wall tiles? Are their are any tips you guys could give me? I've never tiled large tiles onto a wall before.

many thanks in advance.

30 x 30 cms are not large format tiles mate, you wanna try 1200 x 1200

Main point IS Use a powdered adhesive, ( flexi if its a stud wall )

No different to setting out than for any other size tile. The only thing is, with large format tiles you gotta make sure theres NO lumps and bumps in the wall, you cant get away with as much as you can with smaller tiles

as above..
prep the walls/floor,
and also back butter your tiles.
