Hi there can anyone help please

I have the following
Glow Worm BG330+ (2 years old)
Grundfos Pump UPS 15 - 50 (5 years old)
Drayton MA1 Mid position valve (1 year old)
Honeywell DT90E Thermostat (Brand NEW)
Honeywell ST9400S (Brand NEW)

It is wired up in the configuration attached

I have 2 problems

1. The heating only comes on when the Thermostat is turned off, If i turn it on the heating turns off even though it has not reached the correct temp set on the stat (I have tried swapping A and C around made no difference, No negative connected as instructed)

2. When the heating is on the pump is very noisy from what I have read about these pumps they should make a slight hum and last 15 odd years, I have bled all the air out the pump and is slighty less noisy but still wakes us up in the morning.

Please can someone help

Thank You

I might be wrong but from memory I thought the room stat connections should be A and B. It sounds like by coming off C instead of B you have linked to the satisfied terminal as opposed to the call for heat so effectively it's live when satisfied and not when there is a demand. I'll check and confirm.

That’s fixed that problem thank you,

I didn’t do to bad considering BG wired it completely wrong using generic branded goods so when hot water came on so did heating and vice versa.

Now I just need to solve the noise issue, even if I turn down the speed of pump it still is noisy but also does not heat all the rads
