Trying to put a new one switch bedroom light up. All wires and cables seperated so not sure where they went originally. On checking a working bedroom light all 3 red cables go to a block connector not connected to anything. 1 black goes to the live part of the light . All 3 earths are connected to the light. In other room have tried to replicate this (trying 3 diff ways for conneting the single black to the light live)Tried 3 diff ways of connecting. Not worked. Incorrectly tried all 3 red cables into live and 3 black into neutral and lights stayed on but fuse tripped when light turned off. Any help will be appreciated Thanks Shell
