Help no hot water

hi we have a main medway water boiler in summer the water is piping hot
and in winter always runs lukewarm its not even running lukewarm at the moment does anyone know how to reduce the flow of water on these boilers ????

I would think the problem lies with the temperature of the incoming mains supply. With the ambient temperature around freezing outside, the water coming into the heater is a lot colder, therefore requires longer to heat up. Can only suggest you slow the rate of flow from the hot tap, although appreciate not ideal when trying to run a bath.

If you havent had it checked and serviced recently then would be well advised to have that done asap, not only could it possibly improve the performance it will also guarantee the appliance is safe to use.

the last time it happened and an engineer looked at it there was something he turned on the boiler to reduce the flow of water it is only a little screw somewhere but we cant remember what or where it!!
