Hi,

I have 2 radiators (out of 10) that are permanently cold.

After doing some research and getting some advice on this site yesterday, I removed the TRVs (Myson) and discovered the pins in the valves were OK (pin in the up position and springs back up when pressed down and released).

Someone then suggested tunring all other radiators off, which I did and the 2 radiators came on. :D

I left this for an hour then turned all the radiators back on, and the 2 went cold again? :?

I have tried bleeding these individually and they appear to be OK.

Do I need to purge the whole system? If so how?

Any further help would be appreciated?

Thanks

It sounds as if it needs balancing!

See FAQ on this site.

If it was OK before then it may indicate the pump is failing or the system is getting rather sludged up but the first thing to do is to balance it.

Tony
