Help removing this light bulb

I just moved into a new property and am embarrassingly unable to work out what kind of light bulb this is and how to remove it! If anyone recognises this bulb I would really really appreciate some help.

Actually, it doesn't matter with the dead one if you touch it, it's already dead, but it does matter with the new one.

Fitted one to my outside security light about 3 1/2 years ago and still working. Light constantly goes on and off as traffic passes by the end of the drive.

It's actually quite effective when you need to go to the bins with the rubbish on these dark nights.
I seem to recall it's a 42w halogen giving the equivalent of 92w, (or something around that range).

It's like a lighthouse light, to stop cars driving into the house.

It quite handy for stopping people allowing their dogs to walk up the drive and crap on it or the lawn. The light comes on as they begin to pass the end and I've seen them tug on the lead to pull the dogs away.
