Hi All
Not an electrician, just do little diy jobs!
In the lounge we have wall lights & a centre light.
Currently has an 'ordinary' switch. (2 switches on the same 'plate')
Want to fit a dimmer switch
The box contains 3 twin & earth cables
The 3 neutral wires are connected together.
3 red wires...
1 goes to L1 on one 'switch'
1 goes to L1 on the other 'switch'
the 3rd red wire goes to common on one switch, with a 'link' to the common on the other 'switch'
First off...Is the original wiring correct?
And the real question...Can I change this to a twin dimmer switch?
Will there not be some 'interference' between the 2 circuits since they are sharing 'one side'
Many Thanks
