Help to fit new auto air vent Alpha 240p

Hi all, had great help here a long time back so thought maybe someone could help again.

I have just fitted a new pump to my Alpha 240p and a new auto air vent (AAV). Trouble is I can't remember if I am supposed to remove the little black cap on the top of the AAV or merely loosen it or as I have read with other boilers give the inside spindle a quarter turn and put the cap back loosely.

At this moment both both DHW and CH have fired up correctly and seem to be working fine with the new pump and AAV but to keep it that way I want to do the right thing so any advice on the correct procedure for the cap would be much appreciated.

Just leave it on loosely.

Thanks FiremanT, have done and it jogged my memory as I seem to remember doing that years ago when I had to fit another one. Now to get warm !
