hi sorry if i have posted in the wrong place, right i have a vaillant turbomax 242e which had a leaky divereter valve the boiler was still working though just never got round to replacing it , then yesterday the heating was on and all of a sudden the whole boiler turned off no power at all, no lights etc, ive checked the 3 glass fuses on the pcb but all are fine any help would be appreciated thanks.

Have you checked the fuse in the supply to the boiler - should be 3 amp?
dont ! check the fuse ok.
