I wish I could! My problem is I'm too busy for a one man band, installations during day and servicing weekends and evenings, but what happens in summer when it goes quiet??

I would like to employ a good installer/ repair guy for my gas and concentrate on my solar. Problem is having the balls to take the risk!!

Anyway corgi you don't fit Vaillants

well when it goes quite in the summer I go fishing ;)

I i used to fit vaillants all the time VCW;s then turbomaxs

:)

Didn't you start installing with the Sine 18 ???

Or maybe the Ideal CH502 ? ( Or CH501 open flue )

you saucey sod :)

The sine was dead as I was coming out of my apprenticship so I have fixed a few but I dont recall fitting one

that ideal is it like the wrs2000?

they must be 30 odds years old now???

I am far too young to have dealt with them ;)

They came out about 1970 and are virtually an instant water heater with an alcohol filled stat which directly modulates the gas valve.

They were way ahead of their time as a low water content finned copper HE with a modulating stat.

We still use one for a launderette water heating on a direct water circuit with a permanent magnet water conditioner. Its never been descaled and is 37 years old now and just relies on the circulating water not exceeding 60 ° C.

I had another in a house but its off at the moment as water ls leaking from an HE connection.
