Hi problem behind and around the kitchen sink with my newish black effect worktop. It has what looks like lots of limescale stains all around it. I have tried limescale remover, bleach, kitchen cleaner etc but none have worked.

The top is from B+Q and is their granite effect wooden kitchen work top. Any ideas how to remove. It seems to be getting bigger by the day as well!!!

Cheers

I assume it's a laminate worktop, limescale needs an overnight clean, lay a J cloth over the mark and soak with vinegar [white if possible] then leave it to soak overnight, if it's limescale it will remove it.

Agree it could be bleach damage.

If it is limescale try a little acetone (Nail varnish remover) rub a little with a cloth. If this doesn't remove it then it is damaged
