Help with a Switch

Ok Folks I have been changing all the switch in the house today all with no trouble till i came to the last one. Ok the bathroom single switch is a stuck.. I have a fan switch above it too and I replaced that with no prob I then came to the light switch in which I expeted it to be a normal Single switch in which it isnt as there are tons of cables going to it I think it cos it link to the fan aswell as the shaver light in the bathroom. Do you have any idea what type of switch this is, it got

L out
N out

2 earth

Those are what holes there are in the switch. Any idea on what switch i need?

Is it a ceiling switch or a wall switch?

I think it is an isolator for the bathroom circuits.

How many cables go into it; and does each cable comprise a red, a black, and a green/yellow sheathed bare copper?

It a Single Wall light swithch. What i know is when the fan switch is on and the light switch is off the fan and light dont turn on but if i turn the light switch on it turn light and fan on if the fan switch is on. Also this switch turn on the shaver light if the shaver light unit is turned on.

I cant remeber what cables are in it but there are a few of them.

It is an isolator for your bathroom circuits. A light switch will not do.

Ask for a DP switch. Here is an example:

It has good big terminals inside which will make it fairly easy to get all the wires in. They often have neons or red blobs to show when they are on, but I don't think you need a neon.

They are generally available in 20Amp rating, but this is the same external size as a light switch. You will have to mark all the wires that go into "supply (in)" and into "load (out)" on the old one so that you can put them into the same terminals on the new switch.

How far is it from the bath or shower?

The switch is outside the bathroom door. When I turn it on it turn ont he light at the moment as I dont have the fan switch on or the shaver unit on.

I just unscrewed it to look

It got Earth In earth think there 2 or 3

1 blue in N Out
3 blue in N IN

2 brown in L out
3 Brown in L in

OK so can I get Chrome switch then as I dont think the switch range I have put everywhere else does hope it does as I dont want a different looking switch ha ha ha.

Ask for a 20A DP Switch. All the major manufacturers make them.
