Shower fan pull switch

I have a bathroom extractor fan which operates by pulling a cord. It works independently to the bathroom light.
Last few days it’s been hard to pull the cord so I’ve purchased another switch & just asking if the below is correct for wiring it up as each are different.

Old switch shown in photo supplied.

New switch has L & N in & also L & N out.
There is also an earth terminal.

I assume L & N in are the live side wires of the existing switch from consumer unit & L & N out are the dead side “ until cord pulled “ from switch to fan.

Would that be correct.
