Boiler kettled last week and shut down. Checked water flow and found that the pump was jammed. Replace the pump next day.
The burner now fires up and runs for a couple of minutes(pilot light remains lit) Then it just shuts down and won't restart for about half an hour. Bled all the water system and the pipes are heating up nicely when it does run.
I have tried pulling the thermostat probe out to see if it made any difference. It never really helped at all.
Is it possible that due to the previous weeks overheating, the thermostat has been knocked way out of range and thinks that it is constantly overheating????
Or is there another reasonable explanation.
p.s This also happens when only on hot water circuit.
Help required please!!!!!
