Help with central heating in Leeds?

Hi all,

I've had some boiler trouble over the last few days, I've been in touch with a relative who is a frequent contributor (Meldrewsmate) on here who advised me to ask for help on this forum as he is abroad and unable to assist in person.
Over the phone we believe to have narrowed down the problem to either the gas valve or the PCB.
The boiler is a Vokera Linea 28 HE, G.C N^o 470 94 83.
We are based in Meanwood area of Leeds, anyone able to help us?

It would be useful to know what exactly the problem you are experiencing is ??

Thanks for your reply.
When I start up the boiler, the fan starts, the burner ignitor is sparking but not lighting.
The boiler is showing an error code (10) indicating failure of gas supply, polarity or flue blockage.
When I stand outside near the flue I cannot smell any unburnt gas. The gas supply is working fine to the rest of th house.

You will need a GSR engineer to visit and diagnose what the problem is. The forums rules prevent advice being given on gas related matters.

From my disadvantaged vantage point up in the hills of Abroadland I was hoping that a request of this type would prompt a local GSR fitter from this site to offer their services and help my daughter out. On return I find that they have since spent £300 having the gas valve changed (as yet by person unknown) and the problem has not been resolved. It looks like I have to make a 400 miles 'round trip to do the job myself, which may only involve setting up the ignition and the gas-air ratio....dammit.

Could have or still try Vokera fpr? I would have thought a self employed from here may have take job on?
