Hi, as can be seen from first pic, the jutting portion of the wall has damaged the bottom of this door when opened too far repeatedly (previous owners!). Any idea of how to fix? I was thinking of removing the door, trying to super glue the sash to as close to original as possible, and installing an additional hinge above the lowest one, where the sash is undamaged. I can’t find a hinge exactly like these and also can’t locate any indication of the door manufacturer on it (or on the frame).

I’ve already bolted a homemade door stop into a paving slab so that the door cannot be damaged further or again once fixed.

Cheers.

Hinge is the easy part...

The repair to the aluminium is a bit trickier, I would remove the hinge, bash the crack so it's below flush and do a car body type repair, filler and spray, I perhaps wouldn't trust the area not to crack again IF you mounted the hinge back on so moving it upwards is a decent shout, cosmetically it'll look fine

Ideally outward opening doors should always have restrictors on for this exact reason
