I've just moved house and one of the semi-recessed lights in the kitchen has blown.

The bulb is from Ikea and is an energy efficient type. It looks like something on the site described as E27, which appears to be a fitting type so far as I can see on the net.

The holder for it has a ~60mm aperture, so a wide spot wouldn't fit in. The bulb I took out is 120mm long by 60mm wide. It's 11W, 220-240V.

I can't face driving to the nearest Ikea hell and would rather buy a replacement from Screwfix or the local electrical wholesaler. Can anyone give me a proper description of what I'm after?

Thanks!

Diyisfun: Thanks, I'll do that anyway, but I haven't seen one before, so I wanted to check.

RF Lighting: No, it looks more like a normal bulb. I think it's one of these: http://tinyurl.com/htwnu (you'll need to select "globe" in the "colour" drop down box to see the right one).
