Help with locked window handle please!

Hi everyone,

Hoping someone may be able to help please… have moved in to new house and the bathroom window handle has been locked closed, but the key is missing ( have looked everywhere for it, is nowhere to be found )

Can anyone suggest what type of handle this is? And if I would be able to order a specific new key for it?

I have no idea about this sort of thing, any help would be much appreciated!

Is it not the same key as the other windows? If yes, can you get one cut if needed?

Hi, no not the same as any other window in the house unfortunately.

If no joy on here (@crank39 might know), then you might need a new handle, which would come with a new key.

2 ways:
1. Go to ebay and see if these guys can identify the key you need.

2. Drill through the barrel and replace handle. Those barrels are very easy to drill and a new handle is only £10 or less.

Think its the long thin WMS handle and key, but to be honest its just as easy to replace the handle for a modern one

First try sliding a table knife between the slot on the back of the handle, while jiggling the handle

Put a thickish flat screwdriver in the key way and turn it to bodge the lock.
