Staying at Mother-in-Law's for the weekend and (foolishly) offered to fit a seal kit they had for a Mira thermostatic mixer shower (don't know model). Doesn't leak now, but can only get lukewarm water out of it (was OK before). Is it something I have done, or are they adjustable? Basin alongside fed off same hot main has hot water. Thanks in advance. Picture attached of it in a certain state of undress! MD

You certainly stripped that one down

You need to adjust the maximum temperature setting.
Usually just a matter of turning the temp adjustment up full, removing and putting back on at a lower setting. This will allow it to turn up more.
There is a wee bit more than that to it but you will get it hot doing that.
