HELP with my very noisy central heating!

Can anyone solve my problem?

When my heating heats up and cools down there is loud banging and tapping noises coming from the walls and floors, this has got progressivley worse over time and im not sure what to do, I ddon't think its the pipes being too close to floorboards etc because it was never this loud orignially so Im thinking could it be sludge or something in system??

Yes I did in Jan but only got 1 reply so though I needed to try again for new suggestions.

It's the pipes expanding and contracting!!

Can you do anything to redue the noise as they have become louder over the years? or does the noise get louder the older thepipes become?
