Help with new loft project and loft conversion

Yes, but you don't need a vapour barrier if using foiled sheets, just tape all the joints with (usually) 50mm foil tape.

Am finishing the 100mm pir between the joists on the roof today, then will fix the 25mm sheets on top. In relation to the walls, what's the best way to fix the 100mm pir? I've had a read up and there's two schools of thought, Battens or glue straight to the wall..but If I go down the adhesive route (which appears easirer), how would I then fix five the plasterboard to the cellotex? Should I batten, then stick cellotex slabs in between the battens, then plasterboard into the battens? TIA

Hi all,
It' took 8 weeks and £800 over budget, but finally finished, thought I'd show you all what it turned out like. Thanks for the advice
