I have an Ideal Isar HE30 (stop sniggering at the back!). After two years and two months of no problems, it gave a couple of clicks then stopped working - nice man from the installers (not Ideal) said I need a new pcb - after doing some research on here I know none of you will be surprised!

New one being fitted soon - price depending on which one they get from manufacturers, ranging from £203 - £250 plus their own charges which are not too bad.

From the info I have read on here I will more than probably have this problem again. Is the new pcb covered by a warranty and what is the best way to minimise my costs in the future for the same thing happening again?

Many thanks for the help any of you can give me.[/quote][/b]

You should have gone to BG they would have done it for £165 all in

Still cheaper than what he is paying looks like parts are a lot dearer in london too
