help with painting

I have put insulated boards on my metal garage door (xtratherm) the boards have silver foil finish and am thinking of either painting them or a another inexpensive option I am also concerned about paint if this will start peeling off in time also if the paint has to be emulsion. Any help/advise will be much appreciated
