We used happily the ronseal sprayer and the ronseal fence treatment without bothering to paint. But by mistake we have sprayed a little bit(thanks to a big fast breeze) onto the neighbour's new shed and obviously the neighbour is not happy about it and its been a week since this has happened and the paint is now dry .Is there anyway to remove this without making any scratches or damages to the neighbours shed.Please...answer needed ASAP.

Thanks

If their shed is wood then using a pressure washer will take off any wood stain that they have on as well....

Offer to paint the whole of their shed in the new colour.

If their shed is new and as yet unpainted, you will be doing them a favour as it will increase protection against uv rays.

A pressure washer can do untold damage, care is needed. Post a picture. What finish did the shed have? You may have to coat entirely with the stuff you used, and then do a finish coat in a few weeks to get it right.

Let that be a lesson to everyone else contemplating spraying fences. Spray drifts. It kills plants as well.

I'd go for the bottle of wine/6 pack of beer, humble apologies and offer to redo the entire shed (brushed on) with similar colour treatment.

Much better to look like a plonka & eat humble pie than fall out with the neighbours.

DO this and you will both be laughing about it next year, dont do it and you will both still be arguing about it and lots more next year :D

We didnt go with a beer though...we just went and apologised to their hearts content..(they even invited us for a summer BBq)..but we are still feeling guilty about it and want to do something to fix it..

treat their shed, all over, with compatible stain of their favourite colour (but no lighter than the one you sprayed, or it will show through)

you can clean it off windows with meths and washing-up liquid, brushed on to soften it, then scrubbed off.
