Hi
I have to install a beam within my ceiling but unfortunately there's 4 heating pipes a few inches from the wall. These prevent me from doing the padstone for the new beam but also prevents me from placing the beam as I don't have enough room to conceal the beam below the pipes within the ceiling space.
Is there any way I can freeze the pipes, cut them, and reconnect using them flexi pipes so that the flex sags low enough for me to get the beam in, then, I can get a more permanent pipe connection put in after when my beam is in?
I've got to do it tomorrow so was thinking on using a few of them freezing kits you get at b and q?
Would they be up to it do you think and would them flex pipes do the job albeit temporarily?
I ain't a plumber......which is pretty obvious and I'd rather not get a plumber out on a Sunday!
Cheers
