Hi,

I have a 2 zone system, with a separate hot water controller.

The two thermostats are Danfoss TP4000
The HW control is a Honeywell ST9100C

I would like to install a Tado smart system.

The two thermostats already have a COM and NO wiring setup, so I can just replicate that onto two Tado wired thermostats which are also battery operated like the Danfoss, correct? I'm thinking that should almost work straight out the box.

Is it worth me removing the ST9100C, it seems like a lot of hassle and I'm not convinced there's much saving to be made from having the HW smart controlled...once I have the program tuned it'll cost the same smart or not? Not sure if anyone has any experience or advice on that?

Thanks!

Tado, if battery operated will be straight swap for the Danfoss. I’m not sure there’d be any benefit to smart hot water, that said, I’m not convinced of smart heating either
